Biography
David M. Pruessner
Born
in 1955 and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, David graduated from
Baylor University, Cum Laude, with a B.A. in Economics in 1977.He then married Becky Pruessner (formerly
Becky McKinney). They now have three grown children.Becky worked as a nurse to put David through Baylor Law
School. He graduated, Cum Laude, in 1980.While
in law school he was an Associate Editor of the Baylor Law Review. In
1980 they moved to Dallas, Texas, where David has since maintained his
practice.
David has always practiced in civil litigation, and now specializes in
civil appeals and insurance coverage.In
December 1987, David became Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law in
the first group of attorneys that were certified to handle civil
appeals in Texas.He was re-certified in
2007 and is listed in Who’s Who In American Law.
While his practice has included a broad range of civil
litigation, including trials in state and federal court, he now limits
his practice mainly to civil appeals and liability insurance coverage.Rather than handling a heavy docket, David
concentrates on handling a smaller number of cases that involve large
controversies.This allows him to devote

Litigation Support Aside from professional activities, David regularly devotes time to
charitable work, including the distribution of prescription eyeglasses to underprivileged people, particularly in Honduras. His past work with underprivileged youth has been recognized in the
Congressional Record.
