David Pruessner has been Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law since December, 1987. He was among the first group of attorneys that were certified by the Texas State Bar to handle civil appeals in Texas. Board Certification involves demonstrating “special competence” in civil appellate practice to the State Bar. The certification process includes an extensive review of recommendations by fellow lawyers, judges, and opposing counsel, as well as a rigorous written examination on appellate and trial procedure.
